Winter lettuce 'Gala'

A fast-growing and easy-to-grow winter lettuce with dark green, round leaves that form nice little rosettes. The leaves have a mild, nutty flavor and are used fresh in salads. The variety 'Gala' is particularly resistant to powdery mildew and can be harvested over a long period.

Culture:
Sow from July to September for autumn and winter harvest, or in early spring. Grows best in sun to partial shade on open ground and moisture-retaining soil.
