Poppy, spring- Dannebrog
Papaver somniferum
Laciniatum group. Simple red flowers with white center. Grown as a border plant or in large pots. The seed pods can be dried and used in eternal arrangements. Cultivation: Sow directly on the growing site in April-May. Sow shallowly in rows or circles. Poppies self-sow readily and return year after year.
