Sunflower 'Taiyo'
Latin name: Helianthus annuus

'Taiyo' is a traditional Japanese sunflower with large, single golden yellow flowers and a dark centre. It grows 150–180 cm tall with a straight and sturdy stem, making it ideal for cutting and as a solitary plant in flowerbeds. It flowers in late summer and attracts pollinators.
