'Safir' is a fast-growing, crispy head lettuce with light green, dense and fine heads. The variety is excellent for both open field and greenhouses and is resistant to lodging. The mild flavour makes it a favourite in salads and as a base in many dishes.

Culture:
Sow directly outdoors or pre-cultivate indoors. For an even harvest, sowing can be repeated every two weeks. Grows best in loose, moisture-retaining soil with good access to nutrients.
