Red cabbage 'Langedijker Bewaar 2'
Brassica oleracea var. capitata f. rubra

Traditional Dutch red cabbage variety that produces dense, medium to large heads with a deep red color. Excellent for both fresh consumption and long storage - hence the name "Bewaar" (storage variety). Has a mild and sweet cabbage flavor that becomes even better after storage.

Cultivation: Pre-cultivate indoors or direct sow from spring. Plant out after hardening off. Grows best in a sunny location with nutritious, well-drained soil.
