Echinacea purpurea

A beloved classic with both beauty and healing power ! Red coneflower adorns the perennial bed with its deep purple petals and stately center buds. It is not only a fantastic cut flower , but has also been used traditionally as a medicinal plant to strengthen the immune system.

The plant is very hardy , attracts bees and butterflies, and returns year after year with abundant flowering. Sow early in the year for flowering the following year.
