Paprika Kubista F1 (Capsicum annuum)

Description:
Kubista F1 is an early, high-yielding variety of bell pepper with rectangular fruits weighing up to 190 g. When ripe, the fruits acquire an intense orange color and a sweet, delicate taste. This variety is rich in nutrients such as vitamin C (four times more than lemons), beta-carotene, potassium, sodium, calcium and iron. The Kubista F1 bell pepper is perfect for both direct consumption and as an ingredient in dishes and sauces.

Cultivation characteristics:

• Sowing depth: 0.5 cm
• Sowing time in greenhouses: February – April
• Planting out: End of May to beginning of June, when the risk of frost is over
• Plant spacing: 50 x 50 cm
• Harvest period: July – September

Cultivation tips:

1. Sowing:

   • Sow the seeds in pots filled with nutrient-rich soil.
   • Place the pots in a warm space (20–26°C) for optimal germination.

2. Retraining:

   • When the plants are strong enough, replant them in larger pots.

3. Transplantation:

   • Choose a sunny and warm location with fertile, well-drained soil.
   • The soil pH should be neutral to slightly acidic.

4. Care:

   • Mulch the soil around the plants to protect them from weeds and cold.
   • Provide regular watering, especially during July and August.

5. Harvest:

   • The fruits are harvested gradually as they ripen, from July to September.
