Mung bean sprouts are one of the most popular sprouts, known for their crunchy texture and mild, sweet flavor. They are rich in protein, fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants and are often used in Asian dishes, salads, and stir-fries.

Cultivation instructions:

• Soaking: Place the seeds in water for 8–12 hours.
• Germination time: 3–5 days.
• Rinsing: Rinse the sprouts 2–3 times a day with fresh water.
• Cultivation method:
  • Best grown in a germination jar or germination tray.
  • For thicker, crispier sprouts, grow in the dark and place some weight on top of the seeds to stimulate growth.
• Location: Cool and dark during germination, can be placed in light on the last day for greener shoots.
• Harvest: When the sprouts are 4–6 cm long, rinse thoroughly and store in the refrigerator.

Use: Perfect in salads, wok, soups and as a healthy snack.
