Valerianella locusta

A cold-hardy delicacy with a mild, nutty flavor and beautiful dark green crispy leaves . Mâche, also called winter lettuce , is rich in vitamin C and a fantastic ingredient in autumn and winter salads. The variety 'Vit' is KRAV-labeled , is grown organically and tolerates cold temperatures very well.

Perfect to sow in late summer for harvest when most everything else has wilted – a green highlight well into the season .
