Green Globe – Artichoke

A classic and popular variety of artichoke with large, round heads and good flavor. Grown primarily for its fleshy flower buds, which are harvested before they open. Decorative and stately in the garden with silver-green leaves. Thrives in sunny, warm locations with well-drained soil. Can be grown as a perennial in mild climates or as an annual with early cultivation.
