Coriander
Coriandrum sativum

An annual herb with small, pink flowers and many uses in the kitchen . In Sweden, the mature seed capsules are traditionally used as a spice, while in Asian cooking, the leaves and stems are often used fresh .

Coriander is easy to grow , thrives in most soils and can be used from top to root. For harvesting seed pods: wait until they are just starting to open – that is when they are at their most aromatic.
