Purple cabbage – 'Scarlet'
Brassica oleracea

A spectacular combination of nutrition, beauty and hardiness! 'Scarlet' is a deep purple kale that not only adorns the vegetable patch – it is also packed with vitamins, antioxidants and iron . The leaves become even tastier after a few frosty nights, when the flavour deepens and the sweetness comes out.

The variety is very cold-resistant and can withstand temperatures down to -18°C . In mild winters, you can harvest fresh leaves well into January. Perfect for both fresh consumption, cooking and freezing.
