A late maturing, dark green iceberg lettuce characterized by its large, dense, high quality heads. This variety matures approximately 80 days after sowing.

Growing from seed or seedlings

  • Pre-cultivation: Start in March under cover material for earlier harvest.
  • Direct sowing: Sow outdoors from April to June. For a continuous supply of lettuce, sow new seeds every 2–3 weeks.
  • Sowing depth: 0.5–1 cm.
  • Planting distance: Plant or sow with 35–40 cm between plants and rows.
  • Soil requirements: Light, nutritious, humus-rich and evenly moist soil.
  • Location: Sunny or semi-shady.
  • Watering: Keep the soil moist, especially during hot periods.
