Amsoi – Green

Latin name: Brassica juncea

Amsoi 'Green' is a green-leafed variety of Indian mustard with a mild flavour. It is fast-growing and can be harvested several times during the season. Perfect in salads and stir-fries.

Cultivation information:

  • Sowing time:
    – Indoors or in greenhouses: March to September
    – Outdoors: mid-July to early September

  • Row spacing: 25 cm

  • Plant spacing after thinning: 20 cm

The thinned plants are good as baby leaves. Each plant can be harvested several times during the season. Excellent for salads and hot dishes like stir-fries.
