A popular and reliable cucumber for outdoor cultivation in a sheltered, sunny location. 'Sonja' produces long, smooth fruits of about 25 cm with a dark green colour and a mild, crunchy flavour – perfect for slicing fresh, adding to salads or serving on sandwiches.

The variety is KRAV-certified , which means organic cultivation with consideration for both soil and biodiversity. It is equally suitable for hobby growers as for those with a larger-scale vegetable garden.
