Classic French winter lettuce with small, rounded leaves in dense rosettes. The 'Étampes' variety is robust and cold-resistant, making it ideal for growing in late autumn and winter. Mild and nutty flavour - perfect for winter salads.

Cultivation: Sow directly outdoors from late summer to autumn. Can be overwintered with protection and will then produce an early spring harvest. Sow shallowly and keep the soil moist until germination. Thin the plants after emergence.
