Chiba Green is an early and very tasty edamame from Japan. The plant is compact, upright and produces large, plump beans that ripen evenly – making harvesting smooth and efficient. Excellent to enjoy steamed straight from the pod or dried for winter storage.

The variety is designed to provide stable yields even during shorter growing seasons. For best results, inoculation with Rhizobium (bacteria that help the plant to bind nitrogen naturally) is recommended - vaccine is available under article number "zz01" or "soy vaccine".
