Latin name: Phaseolus vulgaris L.

'Amethyst' is a low-growing and productive variety that produces long, dark purple pods with a fine flavour and crispy texture. When cooked, the intense purple colour changes to green. The variety is disease resistant and provides a consistent and long harvest period.
