La Victoire is a traditional French bush bean preserved through ProSpecieRara – a foundation that protects endangered cultivated plants and varietal diversity. This medieval variety has been cultivated for generations and is known for its strength, consistent harvest and beautiful contrast between the green pod and the black beans.

The pods are about 14 cm long, thread-free and easy to harvest. The beans are black, round to slightly oval and have a mild, fine taste. The variety thrives in almost all conditions and has good resistance to weather and disease – a true workhorse in the kitchen garden.
